  1. Time-Based Restrictions

    Customers can only check in or redeem once every X hours (you control this in Reward Options).

  2. Location Verification

    The system checks the customer's mobile phone location. If they're not near your business, check-in is blocked. (Contact support@riiwards.com to enable geolocation.)

  3. Visit Confirmation

    When this option is enabled, customer check-ins or redemptions must be manually confirmed by a staff member using the Mobile Dashboard app β€” designed to work on any device. Only then will the next email be sent.

  • Option 1: With Confirmation (Recommended)

    Use the Mobile Dashboard on a tablet or mobile phone at your premises. Leave it open during business hours. Each time a customer checks in or redeems a reward, a staff member taps once to confirm the visit.

    This ensures:

    • Rewards are only issued for real visits
    • Managers remain in control of the loyalty flow

      Option 2: Without Confirmation

      If manual confirmation doesn’t fit your workflow, you can turn it off in your settings.

      In this case:

    • The next check-in email will be sent automatically
    • If a Redemption Frequency delay is set (e.g. 24 hours), it will still apply before the next email goes out

  • Open the Mobile Dashboard app on a tablet or any mobile device, navigate in the menu to Confirm Visits
  • Leave it accessible for staff to view check-ins as they occur.
  • When a customer checks in or redeems a reward, a confirmation prompt will appear.
  • Tap Confirm to validate and move the customer forward in the loyalty cycle.

To review visit history and redemption details:

  • Go to the Redemptions Summary to see a high-level overview
  • Open the Redemption List for a detailed log of individual reward redemptions

This helps you monitor loyalty engagement and verify customer activity at a glance.
