How Birthday Club Works

Birthday Club is an easy-to-use, automated solution to grow your customer list and increase repeat visits. Once set up, it keeps working in the background—signing up customers, sending rewards, and helping you track results.

1. Customers Sign Up from Multiple Sources

Birthday Club lets customers join from many channels:

  • Website – via an embedded signup widget
  • Social media – by linking posts to your signup page
  • Walk-ins – via QR codes on table tents, posters, receipts, etc. for quick SMS sign-up
  • Existing customers – by importing and curating your legacy customer list

When customers sign up, they provide:

  • Email address
  • First and last name
  • Birthday (day and month only)
  • Optional: anniversary date, age group, gender

For privacy reasons, Birthday Club does not collect birth year.

Smart tracking lets you see which channels work best. You can even assign QR codes to individual staff members and track who signs up the most customers.

2. Automated Emails, SMS, Rewards

Birthday Club automatically sends messages that:

  • Welcome new customers
  • Deliver birthday, anniversary, monthly, and visit-based rewards
  • Send newsletters and updates
  • Request feedback after visits

Text messaging is integrated in a smart way:

  • Fast SMS sign-up for walk-in customers
  • Automatic text reminders if a customer didn’t open their reward email and the reward is close to expiring

Reward emails can also include a customizable promo code for your online shop or POS system. Once configured, these messages and rewards go out automatically.

3. Redeem and Track Rewards

Birthday Club is designed to keep your workload low.

  • Customers simply show the reward email on their phone when they visit.
  • Optionally, you can enable a “Redeem” button inside emails to track redemptions more precisely.

Redemption and visit data are available through:

  • The Customer List & Stats in your dashboard
  • The Visit & Stats Tracker (on eligible plans)

This gives you a clear picture of which rewards bring customers back and how often.
